Electronics. Not quite the word I'm looking for. It could just as easily be "Engineering" or "Making Things®"

I've dabbled with electronics, I can solder OK, and I've made homemade PCBs using the toner transfer method, but this section will include some other stuff that may include an electronic component (pun intended), but might be more... mechanical in nature.

Here's a quick guess at some things that might appear here.

• CNC machine. I want to make a CNC router for milling circuit boards. If it turns out OK, I might look at making it into (or making another for) a laser cutter (for foamboard).
• My son is learning the guitar and desperately wants an electric guitar, so I've been looking at small DIY practice/headphone amps.
• Portable headphone amp.
• Electronics to change the lane switches on my (still not completed) routed slot car track.

Possibly, some electronic stuff related to R/C aircraft. Although I'm not convinced that wouldn't belong in the R/C section.

Anyway, that's the idea. Whether I actually get to do any of this is yet to be seen.
