New Zealand Cyber Security Challenge (NZCSC)
NZCSC is an annual event held at the University of Waikato. Over two days it brings together a multi-round cyber security competition, industry presentations, training sessions, and other events and challenges.

With separate competition categories for secondary school students, tertiary students, and industry experts, NZCSC attracts a wide range of local and international participants every year.

NZCSC is run by the Cybersecurity Researchers of Waikato (CROW), part of the university's Department of Computer Science. It began as a university student-focussed event in 2014, and opened to entrants from schools, other tertiary institutions, and industry in 2015.
The standard of competitors keeps getting higher, but we’re also creating more challenging tasks. It speaks well for the future cyber security landscape, and the University of Waikato.
NZCSC 2019 is happening from July 12-13
